Part model for 3D printing
A model with a central cylindrical body, four arms and mounting holes is shown on a print preparation plate.
Deliverables and review stages are agreed for each project. Manufacturing, testing and external specialists are quoted separately where needed.
Suitable technical requests
- Mounts, brackets, holders and adapters
- Enclosures for electronics, sensors and small devices
- Replacement parts for broken plastic components
- Templates, jigs and simple production fixtures
- CAD models from sketches, photographs and dimensions
- Adaptation of existing STEP/STL models where the source geometry allows
Engineering work
- Parametric CAD geometry
- Checks of key dimensions and mating interfaces
- Manufacturing method, wall thickness, clearances and print orientation considered where applicable
- STL and/or STEP preparation
- Editable source model and technical drawing by agreement
What we need to start
A photo, sketch, sample or existing model is enough to start the discussion. Include dimensions, intended use, operating conditions and information about mating components.
Possible deliverables
A finished 3D model and agreed files suited to the selected manufacturing method. Materials, accuracy, fits and physical verification are agreed separately.
Files and handover
STL and/or STEP. Editable source CAD and a technical drawing are available by agreement.

Discuss a project ↗Scope boundaries
Functional mechanical parts and relatively simple items. Complex reconstruction and engineering upgrades belong to Product Redesign & Reverse Engineering; building and testing a prototype belongs to Functional Prototyping. Physical 3D printing is an optional service by separate agreement. Manufacture, delivery and verified tolerances are not included automatically; a trial print and model adjustments may be needed.
